This month, we release our 2018 DC Pension and Financial Wellbeing Survey, which shows that the ‘squeezed middle’ are worried about not saving enough for retirement. We believe that the industry is split on its approach to GMP equalisation. We respond to the DWP consultation
on the consolidation of defined benefit pension schemes and comment on the CMA’s final report on the Investment Consultants Market Investigation. We also advise Reuters Pension Fund on its £625m buy-in and share our hopes and fears for pensions in 2019.
